Tastefully nestling under the wing of a Murcia hillside, La Tercia Golf resort is about 20 minutes from the beaches of Costa Calida or Mar Menor, Murcia airport, or Murcia city. The historic roman port of Cartagena is only 35 minutes to the south, with the exclusive sports resort of La Manga tucked in between the Cartagena hills and the Mar Menor – a watersports and bird life paradise.

The resort is in a quiet rural location close to La Tercia village – in the district of Gea Y Truyols.

Should You Hire a Car?

Although the La Tercia Golf resort will be self-sufficient – thanks to its large commercial centre – when the community is fully operational, we’d suggest you book a hire car in order to take advantage of the variety of beaches, mountains, and places of interest nearby.

With its own 9 hole hole golf course (soon to be extended to a full 18-hole course), as well as several others a short drive (by car!) away, this is a gem of a resort for golfers and non-golfers alike.

Close to other prestigious golf courses: villa Martin, Las Ramblas and Campoamor, La Finca and La Manga.

Nearby Attractions

There are many tourist attractions in the area to suit all tastes. Water parks, go-karting, museums, horse riding, zoos, palm gardens, theme park, water sports, snorkeling and scuba-diving, the large ‘parque natural’, many beaches, markets, bowling, cinema. There may even be a local fiesta at the time of your visit. There are historic towns to visit, traditional villages, beautiful coves, lovely countryside and even nearby mountains. Just down the road is the Mar Menor, famous for it’s mud baths and water sports.

You will find details of many attractions at the apartment.

How to get there?

The area is serviced by two local airports, Alicante about an hour by car to the north and Murcia (San Javier) approximately 20 minutes east.  La Tercia is easily reached from either airport via the AP-7 motorway, National 3319 highway to the Roldan/Balsicas turn-off, then through the orange groves to the resort.  The town of Sucina is a short drive away.
